Scott Honess
Scott and Sally, his wife and partner in life and ministry of 35 years, came to Prince of Peace in 2006. Scott, a veteran and Mason, came to us with a calling on his life for pastoral ministry. After several years of training and apprenticeship Scott was ordained in 2008.
In 2012 he was hired on the staff of Prince of Peace as the New Works, or Outreach, Pastor.
Scott was instrumental in spearheading new works such as the Hearts 2 Hands Mobile Food Pantry. Which has grown into an ecumenical outreach and is still ministering to people here in Northeast Ohio.
Scott was also part of the leadership team that saw Prince of Peace plant a church in Chesterland, Oh. He was a co-founder and led the Iron Disciples Motorcycle Ministry, and started Bare Bones Fellowship, a unique Outreach taking the Good News of Jesus Christ and the love of God to people who might not readily attend traditional Church.
Due to covid cutbacks Scott returned to the private sector as a painter and faux artist but continues, along with Sally to serve Prince of Peace, it’s congregation, missions, and ministry as a Pastor/Elder to this day.
In their free time Scott and Sally enjoy hiking, camping, traveling and just being with friends and family as much as possible.
Scott and Sally have two grown children Jeff and Sarina, and three grandchildren.
